EXPLORE TOKYO WITH TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK

Now open to visitors, TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK arrives as the third instalment from the TRUNK hospitality group. Situated just steps away from the bustling Shibuya district, the site presents the ideal base from which to explore Tokyo.

Collaborating with Tokyo-based Keiji Ashizawa Design and Copenhagen-based studio Norm Architects, TRUNK(HOTEL) offers a space for an ‘Urban Recharge’, placing holistic principles at the centre of the hotel’s design. Drawing inspiration from the cultural makeup of its home city, brutalist elements of exposed concrete partner with elegant wooden louvres and delicate greenery to present a balanced aesthetic that speaks to the hotel’s urban yet leafy surroundings.

Guest bedrooms span five floors of the hotel, comprising twenty individual rooms and five suites, alongside an expansive 95 m² Owner’s Suite and Terrace. With views across Yoyogi Park or the local neighbourhood of Tomigaya, each room features an accompanying balcony space allowing guests to continue to enjoy their surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city.

A range of unique and custom designs span the interiors, including furniture produced in partnership with Japanese brands, Karimoku and Ariake Collection, and bespoke washi-paper pendant lights crafted by Kyoto-based Kojima Shoten. Prioritising local designers and makers, amenities offer locally produced flip flops crafted from recycled rubber, and toiletries made from organic ingredients.

Shaping an environment well suited to domestic and international professional creatives, this vibrant and energetic hotel serves as a place for like-minded guests to meet and collaborate, offering elegant workspaces, social environments and entertainment areas.

The restaurant, PIZZERIA e TRATTORIA L’OMBELICO invites both the local public and hotel guests to enjoy traditional Italian cuisine with wood-fired pizzas supervised by an award-winning chef responsible for the popular establishment Trattoria e Pizzeria L'ARTE in Sangenjaya.

Further highlights include the rooftop TRUNK(POOL CLUB), located on the sixth floor of the hotel, complete with 360-degree views of Yoyogi Park, a heated infinity pool, jacuzzi and firepit.

In light of recent events in Japan, TRUNK(HOTEL) has committed to donating a portion of its profits to the Japanese Red Cross Society to support relief and recovery efforts in the wake of the devastating damage caused by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. This initiative builds upon TRUNK's broader donation programme, whereby a portion of all sales are directed towards charitable organisations selected by TRUNK employees. In 2022, TRUNK(HOTEL) donated a total of five million yen to the support of charitable initiatives.
